Role Overview

Graphstats Technologies is seeking a skilled Software Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions tailored to meet the needs of our clients in the life sciences and research sectors. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coding, problem solving, and delivering impactful user-centric software.

Key Responsibilities

• Software Development: Design, develop, and deploy efficient, scalable, and secure software solutions.
• SCollaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers and UI/UX designers, to define and implement software features.
• Problem-Solving: Debug and resolve issues in a timely manner to ensure optimal software performance.
• Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
• Testing and Integration: Develop and execute unit and integration tests to ensure software reliability and performance.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest technologies and contribute to the improvement of development processes and tools.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Experience: 2 years of software development experience with a strong portfolio of past projects.

Technical Skill

• Programming experience in Python and/or a compiled language (e.g. C, C++, Java)
• Experience with front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js) and backend frameworks (e.g., Node.js, Django, or .NET).
• Knowledge of database management systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
• Familiarity with version control tools like Git.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycles and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with developing software for scientific or research applications.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
